We are thrilled to be selected as one of 20 TAA accredited aftercare organizations to participate in Derby Gives 2024- Racing for More! This is a super fundraiser hosted by the Churchill Downs Foundation in celebration of the 150th Kentucky Derby.

On the Monday before the Derby, there will be a “post position draw” in which each organization will draw a Derby horse – and if our horse wins, we win the top prize of $25,000!! – but all in all, everyone who is participating is a winner! Every organization will be awarded a minimum of $5000- AND!!! this innovative fundraiser puts the spotlight on aftercare. Anyone can donate to our rescue through our page:

Thanks to everyone who came to our 2023 Judged Trail Ride! Huge thanks to our volunteers who spent the day judging, as well as setting up, cleaning up, and everything in between! They appreciated everyone’s enthusiasm and good spirits, even when things didn’t go quite the way as planned. Note: Because the Birds of Prey was taken out by accident late in the ride, we did not include that in the scoring, as there were quite a few riders who fortunately (or unfortunately) didn’t get to tackle that obstacle….
