Pride, b.m., 16.1h+, 2005

Pride is a gorgeous mare with a great attitude. She is very athletic and supple, and moves easily, like a big cat LOL. She was thin when she came in and is putting on weight but she still needs more. She had a terrible rundown on her RF ankle- it has healed well but there is a small knot there. The vet looked at it and said it was just superficial scar tissue. She does play with her tongue, so a double jointed snaffle may help her- our experience is that it gets better with time....

Update 11/9/11: Pride is now getting to where we want her weight wise- she is a lovely mover and has a bright future but at this point needs a rider used to young horses off the track. She is very smart and athletic, we think she will go far.

Adoption fee reduced- We need to get Pride into a good home. She needs a more experienced rider to bring her along- she is  not dirty but does feel good and wants a job!

Saved thanks to a donation from Margot, in memory of Hannah
