| Vanna's Honeybear, dk. b.g., 16.1++, 2001. Saved from slaughter thanks to a kind donation from Susan of VA!This big handsome
boy is a nice mover and VERY kind and steady to ride. Lots of bone, clean
and sound, no vices. Pinfired over his splint areas- this will not bother
him at all. Makes a slight noise in his wind now that he is not fit, vet
checked him, cleared up a guttural pouch infection, and said he was fine
to do anything but maybe not upper level eventing. Adoption fee $2400- Update October 2007: Vanna's Honeybear was adopted! Mary Jo came last year with a Robin who adopted Kingofrockandroll (Finn) from us. She finally decided she was ready for her own horse and called about several of our horses. She was really taken by Bear but we didn't show him that day, he was being silly about not being side by side with Citi, his best friend since the day they were both rescued from NH. We split them up later that week-- Mary Jo came to see him two weeks later and knew he was the horse for her. After a vet check, he went to his new home where they will pleasure ride, hunter pace, and maybe do a little local showing. She reports that he already nickers for her and comes when she calls him- thank you!
