Pricedale Kid, b.g, 16.0h+, 1998.

We originally adopted "Chance" out three years ago to a 9 yr old girl (yes, he is that quiet and kind!) She did a super job teaching him his flat work and jumping- together they won many many championships.

A year ago or so, there was  a barn fire at the neighboring barn, and Chance and his buddies really got going in the field- he came up a little uneven on the left front for the first time ever- the vet came to see him and felt he had twisted something but took an xray to be sure and surprisingly it showed a screw in the ankle. This vet felt that he should not jump more than 2'6". He came sound again in short order and his owner continued to show him in the 2'6" divisions, and he has been sound all along since then. His former owner was finally ready to move up to the bigger stuff and they wanted to make sure Chance got another great home, so returned him to us.

This guy is so kind and legit, he is tolerant of timid or less experienced riders but can perform for those with more mileage. He goes on a soft rein, does not get flustered if you snatch or lose your balance. Beautiful mover, great on the trails too. We cant say enough nice things about him!

Adoption fee $2500-

Update April 2008:

Just a few pictures of Chance loving his new job. At the show on April 13, he got a 3rd under saddle and a 5th jumping. Not bad after only 2 weeks! He is getting a huge fan club from the kids at the barn.
When you have another Chance, I WANT HIM! Thanks.
Lisa
