Author and adopter Marilyn Hoobler has penned two cute children's books:
Sam the Tail-up Dog-A story about a free-wheeling stray who is adopted by an unwitting couple. With his lack of training, they soon find out how much trouble he is to own. Sam soon discovers how much better life is with a few simple boundaries. This color picture book is suitable as a pre-school read aloud or an early elementary reader. Pre k- Grade 3
Diamond and Sky- The true story of a horse, a pony, and two young boys learning to ride. Things are going well until Diamond is struck with an illness which causes a catastrophic founder. The entire family helps in the struggle to save their beloved pet. This black and white book is suitable as an early elementary reader. Grades 1-4

In honor of Eight Belles...
Eight Belles Wristbands Benefit Rescue
Mr. Rick Porter and the Fox Hill Farm Team have decided to offer wristbands, with all proceeds benefiting MidAtlantic Horse Rescue, to rescue one or more horses in the honor of Eight Belles.
The wristbands are red silicone embossed with "Eight Belles". They are $5.00 each.
