Rienzi is a 23 year old 16.3 hand gelding. He was both a race horse and a steeplechase jumper in his day. I have owned him for 15 years. He currently boards in Phoenixville, where he has a stall. Over the past several months he has been cared for and ridden regularly by experienced riding students. He has a nice trot and canter.

Rienzi is in good health presently. He has lost some teeth due to age, and requires a diet of alfalfa pellets and Equine Senior feed, which give him the nutrition he needs while being easier to chew. This food costs $250/month. He tolerates grazing well. A dentist saw him in December, 2011 and said that no work is needed. He has a long standing bone chip in his right fore leg, probably the result of his racing or steeplechase days. It does not bother him. He does not wear shoes.

Rienzi is a gentle fellow who loves to lick you. He would be a great child or adult beginner to intermediate lesson horse. I am unable to care for him any longer. I have lots of tack items for Rienzi which are negotiable.

Rienzi is available for a free lease. This means I remain the owner but he is yours without payment and you are responsible for all his care, vet, farrier, etc. as if he were your own. If you decide you don't want him anymore, he returns to me. This protects Rienzi and ensures a happy life for a lovable guy! I can no longer afford to keep him and if I dont find the right home, I will have to euthanize him-- help!

Squasher is a dark bay gelding sired by Sultry Song out of Noblessence, foaled on May 28, 1996. He is approximately 16.2 hands. He has excellent ground manners and stands well for the vet and farrier. He clips, bathes, and loads without hassle.  He is up to date on shots and has a current coggins.

Current owner has not had time to work him and is now looking for a loving home and someone that will spend time with him.  Squasher is level headed and has not been spooked by fireworks.Located in Colora, Maryland.  Contact Emily Smith at eesmith@zoominternet.net

Chanel is an 8 year old, 16.2h, Hanoverian/Thoroughbred cross. I’ve had her since she was a yearling. She was trained to jump and is a great trail horse. Over the past year she has been coming up lame on her right front. I have had vets look at her and farriers have tried different angles and shoes and nothing seems to make it go away completely. I am trying to sell her as a broodmare because I don’t have the extra money to try to figure out what is wrong and then treat it. She hasn’t been given any diagnosis that would suggest that it’s something that can’t be corrected. But, like I said, I don’t have the time or resources to figure it out. She is a proven broodmare. She had a beautiful, healthy baby in 2007 with no complications. She is related to Grand Prix Jumper, Fuerst Gotthard on her father’s side. She also the great granddaughter to Secretariat on her mother’s side. http://www.rainbowequus.com/FuerstGotthard_offspring.htm
Chanel was rated First Premium at her AWS inspection as a yearling. She is registered with the AWS. Chanel would make a great broodmare and light trail horse in her current condition. When she was healthy she loved to jump, she gets her leads every time and she was very easy to train. I was schooling her at 3’ and she definitely had the potential and willingness to go higher. Price: $1,800

Exclusive Sound, Bay Mare foaled Jan 16, 1998, in Arizona. Tego is owned by MSPCA Nevins Farm Methuen Mass more pictures on their web site. I have fostered her for 2 years she is very sweet and loves to be out ideally she would do very well in a situation with a run in/out stall and a buddy or two. She is sound and can be ridden lightly in the ring she doesn't like to hack gets nervous and jiggy . She will stand all day on cross ties loves to be groomed and good to handle good to lunge and loves to long line. I had a Parelli type trainer play with her and she loved it! Tego is very engaging and loves attention very kind and will bond to her person . Up for adoption is a lovely Thoroughbred mare. She is registered and her name is Say Beth, but we call her Rookie. Rookie is 15.3hh, chestnut with a thin blaze and a front left sock. She is a sweetheart and just wants your attention and to be loved. She is not broke, so therefore has never raced. I was just starting to get down to business with saddling her when I injured myself during a soccer game. I need surgery and I am very limited to what I can do with her. At this time she is still being handled daily with grooming, feet picked, blankets, etc. I hate to see her sit and do nothing else. Rookie has the most lovely movement and I feel she would make someone a very nice jumper or dressage horse. She is an easy keeper and gets along very well with my other mare and gelding. Her adoption fee is $500 and a good home is a must. (special considerations to a perfect home). If you are interested in Rookie please email me at eleren82@yahoo.com and I will get back to you right away, thank you.

Dancin Vitesse '06 is Dreamhorse #1721940. By Fastness (Ire)(won 1.5M). She is 16h, bay w/star stripe, snip & 4 coronets. She is chunky QH type, fat, healthy & up-to-date on shots/worming. She is clean-legged, but off&on lame with shoulder ? issue. She has good temperament, Irish & French lines, no inbreeding thru 5th gen. Would make a nice broodmare. We have rare cremello JC reg colt perfect match for her. He's a yearling Whistler Mtn Gold '10. I will include a breeding for Vitesse to him when he matures. It would give a guaranteed buckskin or palomino JC reg Tb. He will probably stand in Oxford or Shartlesville PA. She is free to good home, but I cannot keep her myself & it breaks my heart! Located in Oxford, PA.

Sally, draft cross mare-missing her right eye but it doesn’t seem to affect her. When I got her a bit over a year ago, the owner said she hadn’t been ridden for two years, just out in a field. When you work with her consistently on the ground, her ground manners improve. She isn’t bad, just needs to be reminded that even though she is bulky she has confines! I have not ridden her, but the owner said they used to do kids lessons on her and she was a barn favorite. She is very broad and looks to be comfortable. They also mentioned she prefers to be on trails, but didn’t mention what “prefers” means! She doesn’t mind the farrier, vet and she trailers well. Sally survives on air andwill only need hay through the winter. She is definitely the alpha mare and very aggressive with food around with other horses. Caper is a TB/Hanovarian-Cross Mare, 16.2H and about 18 years old. She has fox-hunted, paper chased, and evented (pre-novice). She is a beautiful bay big-boned mare, with a sweet temperment, loves attention, and has lots of life left. She would make a great local fox hunter or to hack cross country for paper chases, or as a beautiful companion horse. She is currently barefoot, but recommend front shoes when in work. Experienced rider and loving home a must. Will consider free lease or good permanent home. Serious inquiries only, please contact Paige at 443-566-0141 or via e-mail at paigep.howard@gmail.com.

Sylvia is a 16'1, 7 year old grey Thoroughbred mare. She is currently, she is being shown in the 2'6-2'9 jumpers with room to move up in the future. She has schooled cross country multiple times and loved it. Went to Fair Hill and our local pony club over ditches, went cross country, up banks, over jumps, trotted in water, through tunnels, in water, over bridges, under bridges, in the woods, and open fields. Would make an amazing event horse! We are currently working on dressage work with her. Sylvia loves to trail ride, she is not scared of anything! She is excellent for the vet, shots, farrier, loading, clipping, and the dentist. She is sweet on the ground, she is not pushy at all, she is always very well behaved. Sylvia has been shown a lot locally including CBHSA, BEST, MHSA, and more she is awesome at shows, she will get you noticed in the ring. Sylvia is up to date on all of her shots and has a current coggins. Price drastically reduced to $2,500 or best offer for a quick and easy sale. Located in Warwick, Maryland.

Blue Goblin-1994 model who raced until 2002, earning $130K, bred by Darley. He is not riding sound-he has screws in a front ankle I think- but is pasture sound. He might be ok for light trail riding but he hasn't been ridden for years. He is also a cribber but only seems to do it in barn. He has been living out since he has been at my place and is an easy keeper. He is a sweet horse who needs a good home.

MeNowYouLater, black bay TB mare, 12 yrs.

Me Now is 15.2 and has not had a job or a brush to her for over 5 years. As the saying goes, "I am so busy that I do not know if I lost my horse or found my lead rope" so she has been out with her friends. She is barefooted, but will need shoes to work. Menow is up to date on shots, farrier and dentist. She is sweet and loves attention when in work. She was jumping 2'6" and was working on lead changes. She is soft and easy to ride for an intermediate rider, with lovely soft sides that respond to the leg, she was quick to learn leg yields She likes to jump and is brave to the jumps, and has hunted a bit. She is not mare-ish. Her pictures do not do her justice, she is stunning. She will shine when she has a person to take care of her and give her a job. She is sound and a good mover. Located in DE. For more info email Carlotta: clinestables1@aol.com

Golden Dolly aka Goldie is an Owner Surrender 1980 AQHA (we did not receive her papers but was told she is registered) Palomino Mare roughly 15.0 hands. She is broke to ride but due to her age she would be best suited for a pasture buddy to another horse (or goat). She has good ground manners and is easy to catch in the field. She will need help shedding out her winter fluff but is an easy keeper otherwise. She was recently trimmed and vaccinated (she is UTD).

Poco Dorando Solana aka Jolie is an Owner Surrender 1988 AQHA (we did not receive her papers but was told she is registered) Sorrel Mare roughly 14.2 hands. She is a pretty mover and has been broke to ride but unknown to when she was last ridden. Very nice personality and good ground manners. Easy to catch in a field and seems to be an easy keeper. Recently has feet trimmed and vaccinations (She is UTD).
(Goldie and Jolie are mother and daughter)

Harley is a not quite 2yo Haflinger/QH mix stud (soon to be gelding). He is a youngster and need someone willing to give time and training. Very cute face and has a neat personality.

All three of the above horses are available through the Kent County DE SPCA- for more information contact

12 yr old, 16.2h TB gelding. Never raced. Sound, with no health problems. Has been shown hunter and started in low level eventing. Desperately in need of home ASAP or may have to take him to a sale (and we all know what that means). Needs a light hand and light seat. Have jumped him as high as 3' with no problem. Willing and honest. Also a very good trail horse. Asking $2,500 negotiable to right home. Call 706-342-6209 or email to threedayscooter@yahoo.com

Meet Nikita—a flashy 3-year-old filly that will make someone a great western pleasure or English hunter show horse. She’s got lots of chrome and is as pretty a mover as they come. Smooth, too! She has been in training with Jim McDonough of J-C Ranch, in Reva, VA, where she’s learned about leg yielding and turns on the haunches in addition to the basics. Great ground manners. Needs an experienced rider who will continue her training and give her daily attention. Call Jayne @ 703.625.2587 to make an appointment to see her.

16 yr old 15.3” former stakes placed chesnut w/ white TB mare. She was barren the last 2 yrs. Sweet and easy to work around, potential pleasure/trail horse. Sound. On Legends Senior to keep her weight up. Email: dkras@earthlink.net or call Diane at 301-481-7387 for more info

Jose is a 15.3h 22-yo thoroughbred gelding whose rider is off to college and he is not ready to retire. He is offered as a free lease in exchange for board at your farm. Has done low level eventing and has recently been used for trail riding in Chester County, PA. He is super sweet and very well mannered around the barn. Lots of energy for his age and loves to go X-country. Experienced riders only. Please call Kathy @610 836-2570 or email kkmccarthy@aol.com for more info.

Marshall Tucker is a lovely thoroughbred, 16h, 10 yrs, well rounded, great ground manners, clips, loads, cross ties, very good to work around. He has a tendency to be a loner in the field. He is a very straight forward horse. He is impeccably schooled as a hunter/jumper. He knows his lead changes( flying also), straight forward to the fence, ring and xcountry. He is a ten mover and has done some show jumping at 2"6, but can jump 3-3.3. He jumps great in the woods, is actually stronger in the ring than x country. He is on Isoxuprine as a preventative, but has remained pretty sound. He is 10 years old and has a lot left to him. I want him to go to a good home where he will be well taken care of. He can't just be thrown out in the field to fend for himself. He is in at night in the winter and in during the day in the summer. I hate to place him but I am riding fairly hard lately and don't want to pound him. He would be a great horse for some lessons, x country riding, and an occasional paper chase. Call Robin 610-649-7610 or email robint664@comcast.net

Kendra (Chief's Tam) is a beautiful 2000 Dark Brown / Bay Mare. Her father was the great Tamayaz & grandfather Gone West. She is 16.3 h & solidly built but femine. Kendra has 4 white feet and a star, would make a flashy competition horse. She's very athletic and loves to work and learn. She loves trail riding at Fair Hill MD. She can be turned out with geldings or mares and is good with dogs/foxhounds. She has been ridden in an indoor for dressage clinics. Kendra started jumping last year, 2' - 2'6" rails, flower boxes, coops. I think she would excel in Hunter Pacing or Eventing, but the sky's the limit with her - loads of potential! She has been vaccinated in 2010 and is excellent for the farrier. I just don't have the time to ride her the amount she requires. She is not for a beginner because of her athletism but would make a rider with knowledge and time a wonderful horse! Asking $3500 (includes a $500 donation to MAHR). If interested contact Lisa at Paycheck73@yahoo.com or 856-297-9190.
