This is our beautiful Mare, 13 years old, Sire was Devils Bag, Dam was Harry's Haze. I rescued her from Camelot Auction in December 2012. She was used as a brood mare until they sent her to auction. She was raced for a very short time. I have had her completely vetted, all shots are now up to date teeth done, great feet. She is 16.3 hands. I rescue one horse every year from Camelot and bring them back to health. This girl has a very special place in my heart. She deserves a good home. I will consider all offers for this beauty for a good life. I have had her under saddle in our ring, she is calm and collected. She has done everything that I have asked of her.

Isn't She Fancy, standardbred mare, 15 yrs. Affectionate and enjoys attention, being brushed and handled. She has good manners, loads, stands for farrier, worms and takes shots easily. She was raced until age 8 and then retired for bowed tendon which is now non issue. She has had one baby. She is kept out year round and is easy to catch.
She is an excellent trail/pleasure horse. Although she was a pacer, she has a lovely trot and is very quiet to ride-

Looking for a good home: imported (from Ireland) 16hh grey 5 year-old TB gelding, previous career successful hurdler - he won his last race by 17 lengths. Now looking for a home, not sure how much work he'll tolerate. He has some arthritis in his back, and we haven't tried to get him fit. He may be suitable for light riding only, or possibly could paperchase or foxhunt. Too early to tell.
Super easy temperament, though - anyone can ride, kids can handle. Out in a group with mares, foals, and geldings, gets along great. Barefoot and happy, free to good home. Check out the videos of his first time under saddle after 4+ months off for winter, http://youtu.be/iYI3wQ-isDw, and of playing with him in the field, http://youtu.be/PRfz5gE_XyM. Call Joy at 650-380-3399 or email jet371@gmail.com.

10 year old TB gelding. About 16 hands. Very friendly, stands for farrier, baths, grooming . Daughter lost interest in riding. Will need experienced rider a few times as not ridden for a year. Will crib. $1500-.

I currently have 2 rescued Thoroughbreds whom I adopted in 2005-2006 from La Mancha Rescue in Chester County, PA. I love them and have taken good care of them and they are sound and coggins tested (negative) just last month. I asked LaMancha to take them back but I was told that they had no room and that I should have them humanely euthanized. I will not do that. I have been trying to find a new home(s) for them to no avail. I can no longer care for them as I have been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and in May I separated from my husband. We are in the process of a divorce and even though I work full time, I am losing my home. If you can help me find them good homes I would forever be grateful. Email Lynn409@aol.com

Wolfy- 18 yr old retired TB. Owner in the midst of a divorce and can no longer keep him. He is western ridden and the only physical problem is arthritis in his front knee but bute works during flair ups.

Avenuesofnewyork, 3 year old gelding, very classy and sweet. He is a cribber, but is more or less controlled with a strap. He was xrayed with two inoperable chips after we claimed him, and we did run him four times. He was never worse than third, including a win. After the last time the owner said rather than completely break him down to go ahead and give him away. He is still sore, although better. I am not a vet, and do not have recent xrays so I honestly cannot tell you when he will be sound, if ever. I don't see any reason why he won't be trail or light riding sound myself, but again, I am not a vet. He has been living in a field with a few other geldings, and is losing weight, so I'd like to help him find a new home sooner rather than later. He is low man on the totem pole and gets along just fine with everyone. He is about 16 hands, maybe a little taller. He is a very sweet boy, and will cuddle with small children and loves attention. He really deserves a chance.

Nemo (jockey club name Profuse, his sire was Bertrando) He is a 12 year old 16 3 ex race horse who I have had since he was 4 years old. We have done eventing thru training level and more recently done dressage (won a few shows). He is a well behaved horse with a good temperament and is low on the pecking order in the pasture. He has had some feet issues and will require a good farrier if you wanted to compete him. He would also make a good trail horse!

I am looking to have my three boys to be placed in a safe and caring home. All three have been great boys and it breaks my heart but because of my health and funds I can no longer keep them. I am running out of time and choices. Journey is a dark chocolate, 17.3 hands born on 5/1/93 he is the only one off the track. Rex is a 16.3 chestnut born 2/14/96. Rex did eventing and barrel racing in the past. I do not have pics of any of them when they were eventing. I did not have them then at that time. .Edward is a 16.3 chocolate bay born May 1995 he trained in all aspects of eventing. All three of my boys are well mannered and get along with other horses very well, geldings and mares. They are calm and extremely easy to handle. I have taken care of them for the past 13 years. They are good with the vet and other individuals, they are not kickers and learn very fast. I have not been able to ride them so they would need some work.
I only rode them for pleasure. They are healthy and are not shod.. They require no special medications, supplements, grains, or hay. Nice grazing, regular grain, regular timothy, regular turn out, and caring people is all they require and deserve. They have great personalities.
My personal health has unfortunately deteriorated within the last year leaving me unable to care for my three boys and unable to work to afford to board or pay for their basic needs. I am in a precarious position and am most concerned with the welfare of my horses. Time is of the essence that I find good and caring homes. Please do not hesitate to call, home: 484-593-0173, cell: 610-368-0354, or- E-mail me bcataleno@yahoo.com - located in Kennett Square, PA

Rienzi is a 23 year old 16.3 hand gelding. He was both a race horse and a steeplechase jumper in his day. I have owned him for 15 years. He currently boards in Phoenixville, where he has a stall. Over the past several months he has been cared for and ridden regularly by experienced riding students. He has a nice trot and canter.
Rienzi is in good health presently. He has lost some teeth due to age, and requires a diet of alfalfa pellets and Equine Senior feed, which give him the nutrition he needs while being easier to chew. This food costs $250/month. He tolerates grazing well. A dentist saw him in December, 2011 and said that no work is needed. He has a long standing bone chip in his right fore leg, probably the result of his racing or steeplechase days. It does not bother him. He does not wear shoes.
Rienzi is a gentle fellow who loves to lick you. He would be a great child or adult beginner to intermediate lesson horse. I am unable to care for him any longer. I have lots of tack items for Rienzi which are negotiable.
Rienzi is available for a free lease. This means I remain the owner but he is yours without payment and you are responsible for all his care, vet, farrier, etc. as if he were your own. If you decide you don't want him anymore, he returns to me. This protects Rienzi and ensures a happy life for a lovable guy! I can no longer afford to keep him and if I dont find the right home, I will have to euthanize him-- help!

Chanel is an 8 year old, 16.2h, Hanoverian/Thoroughbred cross. I’ve had her since she was a yearling.
She was trained to jump and is a great trail horse. Over the past year she has been coming up lame on
her right front. I have had vets look at her and farriers have tried different angles and shoes and nothing
seems to make it go away completely. I am trying to sell her as a broodmare because I don’t have the
extra money to try to figure out what is wrong and then treat it. She hasn’t been given any diagnosis
that would suggest that it’s something that can’t be corrected. But, like I said, I don’t have the time or
resources to figure it out.
She is a proven broodmare. She had a beautiful, healthy baby in 2007 with no complications. She is
related to Grand Prix Jumper, Fuerst Gotthard on her father’s side. She also the great granddaughter to
Secretariat on her mother’s side.
http://www.rainbowequus.com/FuerstGotthard_offspring.htm
Chanel was rated First Premium at her AWS inspection as a yearling. She is registered with the AWS.
Chanel would make a great broodmare and light trail horse in her current condition. When she was
healthy she loved to jump, she gets her leads every time and she was very easy to train. I was schooling
her at 3’ and she definitely had the potential and willingness to go higher.
Price: $1,800

Up for adoption is a lovely Thoroughbred mare. She is registered and her name is Say Beth, but we call her Rookie. Rookie is 15.3hh, chestnut with a thin blaze and a front left sock. She is a sweetheart and just wants your attention and to be loved. She is not broke, so therefore has never raced. I was just starting to get down to business with saddling her when I injured myself during a soccer game. I need surgery and I am very limited to what I can do with her. At this time she is still being handled daily with grooming, feet picked, blankets, etc. I hate to see her sit and do nothing else. Rookie has the most lovely movement and I feel she would make someone a very nice jumper or dressage horse. She is an easy keeper and gets along very well with my other mare and gelding. Her adoption fee is $500 and a good home is a must. (special considerations to a perfect home). If you are interested in Rookie please email me at eleren82@yahoo.com and I will get back to you right away, thank you.

Caper is a TB/Hanovarian-Cross Mare, 16.2H and about 18 years old. She
has fox-hunted, paper chased, and evented (pre-novice). She is a beautiful bay big-boned mare, with a sweet temperment, loves attention, and has lots of life
left. She would make a great local fox hunter or to hack cross country for paper chases, or as a beautiful companion horse. She is currently barefoot, but recommend front shoes when in work. Experienced rider and loving home a must. Will consider free lease or good permanent home. Serious inquiries only, please contact Paige at 443-566-0141 or via e-mail at paigep.howard@gmail.com.

Blue Goblin-1994 model who raced until 2002, earning $130K, bred by Darley. He is not riding sound-he has screws in a front ankle I think- but is pasture sound. He might be ok for light trail riding but he hasn't been ridden for years. He is also a cribber but only seems to do it in barn. He has been living out since he has been at my place and is an easy keeper. He is a sweet horse who needs a good home.

Meet Nikita—a flashy 3-year-old filly that will make someone a great western pleasure or English hunter show horse. She’s got lots of chrome and is as pretty a mover as they come. Smooth, too! She has been in training with Jim McDonough of J-C Ranch, in Reva, VA, where she’s learned about leg yielding and turns on the haunches in addition to the basics. Great ground manners. Needs an experienced rider who will continue her training and give her daily attention. Call Jayne @ 703.625.2587 to make an appointment to see her.

Jose is a 15.3h 22-yo thoroughbred gelding whose rider is off to college and he is not ready to retire. He is offered as a free lease in exchange for board at your farm. Has done low level eventing and has recently been used for trail riding in Chester County, PA. He is super sweet and very well mannered around the barn. Lots of energy for his age and loves to go X-country. Experienced riders only. Please call Kathy @610 836-2570 or email kkmccarthy@aol.com for more info.

Kendra (Chief's Tam) is a beautiful 2000 Dark Brown / Bay Mare. Her father was the great Tamayaz & grandfather Gone West. She is 16.3 h & solidly built but femine. Kendra has 4 white feet and a star, would make a flashy competition horse. She's very athletic and loves to work and learn. She loves trail riding at Fair Hill MD. She can be turned out with geldings or mares and is good with dogs/foxhounds. She has been ridden in an indoor for dressage clinics. Kendra started jumping last year, 2' - 2'6" rails, flower boxes, coops. I think she would excel in Hunter Pacing or Eventing, but the sky's the limit with her - loads of potential! She has been vaccinated in 2010 and is excellent for the farrier. I just don't have the time to ride her the amount she requires. She is not for a beginner because of her athletism but would make a rider with knowledge and time a wonderful horse! Asking $3500 (includes a $500 donation to MAHR). If interested contact Lisa at Paycheck73@yahoo.com or 856-297-9190.
