or walk your dog through some of Maryland’s
most beautiful protected land, while raising
money to help our rescued dogs and horses!
Our 5K starts the day, with runners following
the roads and paths of the serene countryside,
home to bald eagles and other wildlife. Shortly
afterwards, our fun dog walk begins, with trivia
questions along the way. Runners and walkers
will return to music, food, fun, prizes, and
canine games. Meet some of our rescued horses
and dogs for adoption. Later in the morning,
celebrate with us as we break ground for our
new Paws for Life kennel!
All runners and walkers get a free T-shirt, and
all the doggie games are free. Collect pledges

The winner of the Beale Wright Morris Memorial Trophy in 2007 was Taylor Ludlam. One of the senior members of St Augustine Pony Club, she is a lovely rider and serves as an inspiration and mentor to the younger members. She gladly volunteers her time to help at mounted and unmounted meetings, rallies, and quiz.
Beale was an internationally recognized event rider and former pony clubber whose top horses were all thoroughbreds off the track. She passed away in March 2005. This award is given annually to the member of St Augustine Pony Club (DE) who best embodies Beale's commitment to pony club, love of horses, and compassion towards others. Taylor also received a $100- grant towards a pony club clinic in the coming year. Noted sculptress Nancy Weimer Belden, of Newton, NJ, created the perpetual trophy.
